Obituary
Lloyd Ray Sanders Sr. was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma on December 24, 1959, to Glenn and Betty (Edon) Sanders. He passed away at his home in Duncan on Friday, August 18, at the age of 63.
A private family service is being planned for a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
After high school, Lloyd joined the Army where he served for 26 years. Throughout his life he also worked laying asphalt and was an electrician and a department manager for Walmart. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching football and NASCAR. Dale Earnhart Sr. was his favorite driver. He also loved watching wrestling with his daughter.
Preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd is survived by his wife, Lisa; children: Leslie Sanders, Lloyd "Ray" Sanders Jr., Tyler Sanders, Hunter Sanders, Brittany Sanders, Colton Sanders, James Organ, and Cody Lee Tyrion; 12 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
