Loretta Maxine Pipkin, 87, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 15, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 28, 1938, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to John Thomas "JT" and Marguaritte (Harrell) Wilson.
Loretta graduated from Big Lake High School in Big Lake, Texas, in 1957. She worked for many years as a beautician and brought joy to those around her with her creativity and kindness. She loved crafting, sewing, playing cards, and enjoying bunco nights with her girls. Cooking for her family and her church was one of her greatest joys, and she shared her talents generously. A devoted member of Connection Church in Marlow, Loretta cherished her church community deeply. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family, who were the center of her world.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of over 40 years, Lenis Randel Pipkin; son, George Lee Wilson Jr.; brother, Tommy Wilson; and sisters: Marge Govenale and Linda Bickle.
Survivors include her children: Kevin Wilson and wife Susan, Rodney Wilson and wife Kelley, Diana Connolly and husband Tom, Judy Slaughter, and Lenis Pipkin; grandchildren: Lacey Bearce (Micah), Justin Whitman, Jennifer Dunning (Bryce), Michael Connolly, Kacee Dunavan (Chad), Randy Kinsey, Michelle Presley (Teddy), Daylee Wilson (Shane Prestwich), Kelsie Rigsby (Michael), Christie Moses (Tim), Jennie Pipkin; and great-grandchildren: Ty Bearce, Paisleigh Bearce, Wyatt Bearce, Kinder Prestwich, Hunter Rigsby, Steven Rigsby, Kymber Rigsby, Preslie Gray, Kason White, Bentleigh Dunavan, Ashton Dunavan, Trent Moses, Zach Moses, Autumn Moses, Justin Waxler, Ashley Waxler, Lacey Macias, and Randa Kinsey.
Viewing will be available on Sunday, January 18, from 1:00-5:00 P.M. at Whitt Funeral Home. A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Monday, January 19, at Connection Church Marlow with Pastor Ron Maxwell officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Ty Bearce, Micah Bearce, Michael Rigsby, Chad Dunavan, Tom Connolly, Shane Prestwich, Michael Connolly, and Forest Wilson. Honorary pallbearers are Mark Wilson, Todd Wilson, Hunter Rigsby, Wyatt Bearce, Kason White, Steven Rigsby, and Kinder Prestwich. Interment will take place at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 20, in the Walters Cemetery in Walters, Oklahoma under the direction of Whitt Funeral Home.
