Lu Ann (Van Hoozer) Dial was born February 13, 1954, in Duncan to Billy and Melba (Cook) Van Hoozer. She passed away in Marlow, on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at the age of 70.

Lu Ann graduated from Empire High School in 1972. She was a compassionate person who worked as a caregiver the homes of the sick and elderly. In her free time, she enjoyed arts and crafts, 70s rock and country music, fishing, and attending rodeos. Above all, Lu Ann cared deeply for her mother and loved her family and spending time with them.
She is preceded in death by her father; grandparents; and grandson, Jaden Jackson.
Survivors include her mother, Melba; son, Ryan Dial and wife Rebecca; grandchildren: Gabriel Dial, Logan Dial, Savannah Dial, Noah Dial; sister, Jayna Harden and husband Bill; niece, Jennifer Jackson and husband Chad and a host of friends.
