Lynda Waine Letterman was born December 25, 1943, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Pete (Louis) Walton and Jessie (Sartin) Moseley. She passed away surrounded by her family in Weatherford, Texas on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at the age of 81. She was a resident of Marlow, Oklahoma for 44 years.

A funeral service is planned for 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 8, in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Southerland officiating. Viewing will be one hour before the funeral. Burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery with Shannon Marino, Tanner Marino, Carver Marino, Sawyer Marino, Ethan Vrana, and Rickie Fisher serving as pallbearers.

Lynda had a heart devoted to her family; she dedicated her life to being a homemaker and stay-at-home mother. She lovingly raised her three children, Annette, Michael, and Stephanie, instilling in them the values of kindness, faith, and perseverance.

Lynda found joy in the simple yet meaningful things-sewing, crafting blankets that warmed both body and soul, and spending time with her beloved dog, Mindy. Her home was always filled with love and laughter. Lynda was a member of New Hope Baptist Church West and lived her life guided by her faith.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Annette Thomas of Weatherford, TX, Michael Letterman and Stephanie Norris, of Saginaw, TX, Stephanie and husband Shannon Marino of Weatherford, TX; grandchildren: Laura Thomas of FL, Lantz Smiddy of OK, Michael Allan Letterman II and Christopher Letterman of LA, Tanner Marino, Carver Marino and Sawyer Marino of TX; and great-granddaughters Alyssa Boren of TX and Danielle Smiddy of OK; great-grandsons: Samuel and Michael Smiddy of OK; and sister, Janis and husband Tommy LaFountain of NM.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete (Louis) Walton Moseley and Jessie (Sartin) Moseley; brother, Randy Moseley; sister, Rosemary Moseley; and grandchildren: Jarid Letterman and Jennifer Thomas.
