Dicie "Mae" Francis passed away in Marlow on November 16, 2020, at the age of 72.
Graveside services will be on Friday, November 20, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Duncan Municipal Cemetery. Jerry Moore will be officiating. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Whitt Funeral Home in Duncan.
Mae was born on December 27, 1947, in Modesto, California to William Thomas Bradford and Sarah Della (Duffy) Bradford. She was raised in the McAlester area where she met her first husband, Joseph Francis in 1975. She graduated from Southeast High School in Oklahoma City before attending vocational classes in Byng, where she graduated in 1980. Mae worked for the Valley View Hospital in Ada, in the operating room as a certified surgical technologist for over 20 years, before retiring in the late 1990's. After the passing of her first husband, Joseph, Mae met and married Gene Rehder, moving to the Duncan area where she had lived since 2001. She loved to watch Jeopardy and study God's word. Mae enjoyed trying new recipes like Dr. Pepper jelly. Mae loved being surrounded by her family that she loved dearly.
She is survived by a daughter, Dwyn Francis of Duncan; a step-son, Clifton Rehder; daughter-in-law, Karen McBride of Ada; two grandchildren: Damien Johnson of Duncan; Kyla Lewis of Duncan; three great-grandchildren: Arayah Johnson; Myles Johnson; and Gavin Hernandez.
Mae was preceded in death by her two husbands: Joseph Francis; Gene Rehder; her parents; a son, Kyle Francis; and a brother, Eddie Barnes.
