Margie F. Anderson departed this life to be with her Lord and Savior on January 15, 2021 at the ripe old age of 100 years, 2 months and 1 day.
A graveside service is scheduled for Tuesday, January 19, at 1:30 P.M. at Duncan Cemetery with Charley Weeaks officiating. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren: Mike, Jody and Will Anderson, Kendal Rochell and Kevin Davis. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.
Margie was known by all who knew her as "Grandma" and everyone who knew her loved her. Grandma taught Sunday school at Fair Baptist Church for 15 years and was a founding member of Beaver Creek Cowboy Church. She was very well known for her quick wit and sense of humor though she could be a little opinionated and outspoken!
Life has hit her hard at times but her faith never wavered. She will be sorely missed by her friends and family, but we are comforted by knowing she is in her heavenly home with Jesus and her loved ones that have passed before and that is something she honesty looked forward to.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; her husband, G.L Anderson; son, George Ray Anderson; grandson, Kim Edward Anderson; granddaughter, Kaycee Rae Anderson; and great grandson, Dylan Cade Anderson.
She is survived by her son and his wife, LeeRoy and Cookie Anderson; grandsons: Mike Anderson and wife Diedra; Jody Anderson and wife Diahanna; Will Anderson and wife Holly, all of Duncan; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers Margie requested that donations be given to Beaver Creek Cowboy Church, 174127 N 2720 Rd., Duncan, OK 73533.
