MARILYN JEAN TULLY
Apache, OK


Passed away February 13 in Edmond , OK. She was born July 31, 1946 in Anadarko,OK to George and Verna (Bennett) Tully. She grew up on the family ranch south of Carnegie,OK. She loved the ranch and spent many hours riding horses, checking cattle with her father and seeing all the wild deer and turkeys.

Marilyn attended the Alden Public School until the 5th grade when her family moved to Carnegie,OK. During her high school years she was the organist at St. Richard's Catholic Church in Carnegie. She graduated from Carnegie High School in 1964 and then attended the University of Oklahoma eventually earning a Masters Degree in Accounting.

She became a CPA and worked in Oklahoma City for a few years then moved to Honolulu, Hawaii where she opened her own business as a CPA. In 1991, she moved back to Oklahoma but still kept her roots in Hawaii and traveled back and forth.

Marilyn loved to travel. She was a worldwide traveler and got to see many places. Marilyn had a very big, loving heart and loved doing for others. Even in her death she is still giving by leaving her estate to the St. Gregory's Catholic College Scholarship Fund.

She is survived by her sister, Jane Tully of Colorado and many close cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Verna Tully.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 18, at 2:30 P.M. at Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Apache, OK with Reverend Prakash Madineni officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Crews Funeral Home of Apache,OK.
