Marvelene O Oxley

Marvelene Oxley was born to Escar and Elsie Rowbotham in Hagarville, Arkansas on March 24, 1930. She passed away Saturday, December 22, 2024, in Carnegie, Oklahoma at the age of 94.

A viewing is scheduled for 10:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M, Thursday, December 26 at Crews Funeral Home. A graveside service is planned for 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 27, at Fairview Cemetery in Apache, Oklahoma with Jim Hall officiating.

Marvelene was married to Eldon Oxley of Apache, Oklahoma and lived, ranched and farmed in the Broxton Community. Eldon preceded her in death in 1995. Marvelene loved the cattle business and was active in the family's cattle operation for many years. She was also a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked for nearly forty years at the Carnegie Nursing Home where she helped care for countless family members of the residents in the Carnegie area and beyond. Marvelene and Eldon raised 5 children and have several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
