Marvin Harris Obituary
Marvin Dwayne Harris was born June 18, 1954 in Fort Worth, Texas to Marvin E. and Emma Jean (Justice) Harris. He passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021, in Marlow, Oklahoma at the age of 67.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 6, between 3:00 and 4:00 P.M. by the Duncan Lake Pavilion, east of Duncan. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center of Duncan.
Marvin attended schools in Fox and Loco. He was employed as a roughneck in the oilfields of Oklahoma. He also worked for Clarence Bohannon in the scrapyard and as a mechanic working vehicle rear ends in Fort Worth, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta; parents, Marvin and Emma; and four brothers, Ricky Harris, Tommy Harris, Mark Harris and infant, Robbie Dale Harris.
Marvin is survived by his daughter, JoAnna Harris; grandson: Landon Harris; granddaughter, Roberta Harris; brother, T. J. Harris; sisters: Donna Evans, Lela Fairl, Darlene Lance, Marlene Harris, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
