Mary Jane Griffith, of Ryan, Oklahoma, was born October 1, 1949, to Carl and Ivy Marie (Thompson) Hollander in Lawton. She met her Lord and Savior on February 19, 2020, with her loving family by her side in Wichita Falls, Texas.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, February 22, at 10:30 A.M. at the First Baptist Church of Ryan, with Rev. Steve Spangler officiating, assisted by Ricky Phillips. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Mary graduated from Cache High School and earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology in 1998 from USAO in Chickasha. She married the love of her life, Kelly Ray Griffith, on May 29, 1969, at the Westside Baptist Church in Lawton. To this marriage, one daughter - Linda - was born.
She loved reading her Bible and mysteries. She also enjoyed making clothes as she could sew anything. Mary could recall and tell stories and jokes from years ago. She loved cats. Her daughter and grandchildren were very close to her heart. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ryan.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Kelly; daughter, Linda Griffith-Lambert of Duncan; grandchildren: Lena and husband Jeff Sturges, Nathan Lambert, Brandon Keck, Ronnie Keck, Star Keck, Sarah Griffith, Randy Griffith, Heather and husband David Grant; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Danny Hollander of Chickasha; and sisters, Ann and husband Bill William of Florida and Betty and husband Tim Brooks of Chickasha.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Roy Hollander and Leu Hollander.
