Mary Louise Hill, 80, of Marlow, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, June 21, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Mary was born June 14, 1946, in Foster, Oklahoma, to Elmer and Helen Ruth (Williams) Williams. She grew up in a large, close-knit family and carried that deep love for family throughout her life.
Mary enjoyed the simple joys that made each day brighter. She loved to crochet, work puzzles, read books, and spend time on her tablet. She was happiest when surrounded by her family, sharing stories, laughter, and a cold iced tea, water, or Dr. Pepper. Mary also loved going for walks, and her family often had to keep a close eye on her so she wouldn't slip out for an extra stroll.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers: John, Warner, Larry, and David Williams; and her sister, Sandra Seward.
Mary leaves behind a large and loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her children, Louise Rowell of Marlow; Pat Henington and husband Benjy of McAlester; Dwayne Hill of Marlow; and Preston Hill and Missy Gilman of Grove. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy.
Other survivors include her sisters, Pauline Hillger and husband Bert, and Christine Williams, along with numerous nieces and nephews who adored her.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
