Mary Ellen Teague was born November 8, 1946 in Oklahoma to William Albert and Neoma Ellen (Taylor) Robnett. She passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021, in Oklahoma City at the age of 74.
Mary graduated from Duncan High School and was a devoted mother, wife and devout Christian. She had a profound love of cooking and worked in the bakery at Homeland the last 14 years of her life. She had a fierce work ethic that she was adamant on instilling in both of her children (and did so successfully).
Mary had such a passion for animals and she volunteered her time caring for, rehabilitating and finding homes for cats with her husband Larry. One could say it was a passion project they enjoyed doing together.
She married Larry Junior Teague on March 8, 2013 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Family was important to her, especially her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchild. She loved doing anything with her family as family was most important. She enjoyed watching OU football games and going shopping. She loved Christmas and the joy it brought with it.
Mary is survived by her husband, Larry; children: Robert and wife Michelle Brown of Edmond, Shawn and wife Kim Brown of Edmond; grandchildren: Hali Brown, Kortney Brown, Dalton Brown, Boston Brown, Abby Cordoves, Riley Brown, Alley Mason, Reagan Mason, Dalton Alexander, and Kylie Alexander; great grandchild: Cash Edwards; step children: Tina Teague, Shayla Howell, Skylar Teague; step grandchildren: Kinzley Howell, Aiden Howell, Addison Carney, Jr. Avery, Alexzander Teague, Autumn Johnston, Skylar Teague Jr., Casey Teague, Salem Teague, Kaedyn Teague; and aunts, Eva Miller and Dorothy Moore.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father; son, Frankie Brown; brother, Geary Wayne Robnett; and aunt, Wanda Parks.
The family will greet guests on Friday, November 12, between 5:00 and 6:30 P.M. at Whitt Funeral Home.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, November 13, at 12:00 Noon at Whitt Funeral Home. Pastor Mario Pineda will be officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Whitt Funeral Home.
