Maxine Pollan was born on September 28, 1945, in Yuma, Arizona, to Mack and Lola (Edwards) Davis. She passed away peacefully at her home in Terral, Oklahoma, on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at the age of 80.

Maxine spent her early years in both Phoenix and Yuma, Arizona, where she was raised and educated. Following her graduation from high school and the completion of several college courses, she began a long and dedicated career with Arizona State Compensation. She served as a claims clerk for 30 years, demonstrating professionalism, diligence, and a strong work ethic throughout her tenure.

In her younger years, she enjoyed fishing and camping, activities that reflected her appreciation for the outdoors. She also found joy in traveling and attending church camp, where she formed lasting friendships and strengthened her faith.

On December 10, 2010, Maxine married Larry Grant Pollan, with whom she shared a meaningful and cherished companionship.

Preceded in death by her parents and sister, Margaret Brown, Maxine is survived by her husband, Larry; son, Stacey Mack Courrier of Arizona; and nephews: Terry Brown and Jerry Brown.

Cremation arrangements were handled by Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
