Michial James Morton Sr. was born May 28, 1955 in Fort Dix, New Jersey to William Morton and Betty (Smith) Morton-Duke. He finished his earthly journey on February 11, 2025 in Marlow, Oklahoma at the age of 69.
There are no services pending. Inurnment will take place in Fort Sill National Cemetery at a later date. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Michial was born into a military family and moved around the country. After graduating high school, he joined the US Army where he served in Vietnam.
Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gary Morton, Michial is survived by his children: Tatiana Morton, Michial Morton Jr., Nina Morton, Angela Morton, Jasmine Morton, and Michial Morton II; brothers: Greg Morton, Jeff Morton, Brian Morton; and sister, Jill Morton.
