Mona "Marie" McDaniel was born in Leonard, Texas, on September 5, 1947, to Steve Lee and Beulah Mae (Lewis) Swango. She passed away peacefully with family at her side on Friday, September 10, 2023, in Duncan at the age of 76.
A graveside service is planned for 4:00 P.M. Friday, November 17, at Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Steve Lee Swango; sister, Sandra Ann Dentler. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, James Garvin McDaniel; children: Twilla Isom and husband Jay, Gina Kennedy and husband Jim, Cassandra McDaniel, Nathan McDaniel, Jason McDaniel; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
