Nancy Ann Bauch

Nancy Ann Bauch was born December 28, 1964, in Duncan, Oklahoma, to Mamie Faye Bauch and Fred L. Bauch Jr. She completed her earthly journey on Monday, June 21, 2021, at the age of 56.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 30, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Whitt Funeral Home. A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, July 1, at 10:00 A.M. in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jim Wilson, pastor of Western Heights Baptist Church, officiating. Inurnment will follow at Duncan Municipal Cemetery. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center of Duncan.

Nancy graduated from Velma Alma High School with the Class of 1983 as Salutatorian of her class. She was also recognized in the Who's Who Among American High Schools for Academic Excellence. She then received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in 1987. Nancy became an LPN in 2006. She was employed as an LPN at Wilkins Health and Rehabilitation Community; she loved working there. Nancy was especially attached to the residents of Wilkins Nursing Center and regularly gave birthday and holiday gifts to those who did not have family or loved ones to visit. She enjoyed helping everyone, especially anyone less fortunate.

She enjoyed going fishing. She loved to crochet, read and work puzzles. Nancy was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church and read her Bible daily before work; Nancy loved the Lord our God. Every evening, when Nancy left for work, she would always tell her mother that she loved her without fail.

Nancy is survived by her mother, Mamie Faye Bauch; of the home, father, Fred L. Bauch Jr.., of Duncan, sisters: Mary Beth Malone of Moore and Carolyn Paramore of Duncan; brother, Fred L. Bauch III of Duncan; and nieces and nephews: Randy Bailey; Amanda and Nick Moore; Ricky Malone; Tyler and Cathy Bauch, along with great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandma, Etta Woody, and her aunts and uncles: Irene Woody, Leroy Woody, Joan Strawn, Patsy Koch, and Ronnie Koch.
