Neda Faye Lewis

Neda Faye "Watson" Lewis was born November 12, 1928 in Loco, Oklahoma to James Anderson and Golda Mae "Deaton" Watson. She completed her earthly journey on Friday, January 1, 2021, at her home in Duncan.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 5, at 2:00 P.M. in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Southerland officiating. Interment will follow in Duncan Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.

Neda graduated from Loco High School where she played basketball as a Loco Hornet. On August 12, 1949, she married M.J. “Mutt” Lewis. They were married 65 years until his death in 2014. Their home was always open to friends where they loved to entertain. Her children’s and grandchildren’s friends were always welcome and were treated like family. She and her family enjoyed time in her beautiful backyard, quiet moments watching the birds, and the calmness of her waterfall.

She was preceded in death by her husband, M.J. “Mutt” Lewis; parents, Jimmy and Golda Mae Watson; son, Kelly; and brother, C.P. Watson.

Neda is survived by her children: Karla and husband Johnny Dillon; Mike and wife Jackie Lewis; Kim Lewis; grandchildren: Jeff Dillon; Jenna and husband Billy Gasparino; Lee Lewis; Jay and wife Ashley Lewis; Matt Lewis and Nicole Righetti; Jon Lewis; Jessica and husband Matt Smith; great grandchildren: Hannah Dillon; Will Gasparino; Mac Lewis; Lincoln Lewis; Luca Gasparino; Seger Smith; Ryker Lewis; special nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Neda and her family were blessed with special angels who provided much love and care – her beloved nieces, Anita Randolph and Christy White, and special friend, Teresa McCombs.
