Owen "Moose" Chester Spencer

Owen Chester "Moose" Spencer was born July 24, 1962, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Preston and Augustine (McCarthy) Spencer. He passed away at his home in Oklahoma City on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at the age of 62.

There are no services pending at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.

Owen worked as a carpenter in home construction and as a truck driver. Although Owen never married or had children of his own, he was a big family man. He loved to spend time with them and make them laugh and was always telling them how much he loved them. Owen also enjoyed traveling, fishing, and spending time on the weekends with his nephew, Joey Cortez.

Preceded in death by his parents; sister, Christine (Spencer) Cortez and other siblings, Owen is survived by his sister, Florene Talbert Spencer of Harrah, OK; brother, Floyd Spencer of Harrah, OK; and his nieces and nephews.
