Pamela Kay Woody was born on August 26, 1969, to Michael R. and Mary Lou Rogers Woody in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. She passed away on June 18, 2019, in Lawton, Oklahoma. Pamela was a member of the Osage Tribe. She was proud of her Native American heritage and danced at all the Osage dances before becoming ill.
Graveside services will be held at Hope Cemetery on Monday, June 24 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Dean Hall officiating. A private family visitation is scheduled for Saturday, June 22 from 3:00-5:00 at Whitt Funeral Home.
Pamela was a huge fan of John Travolta, Elvis Presley, and Dolly Parton. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and traveling. She also loved to watch all the Disney movies. Pamela was a gymnast and very athletic. She also enjoyed ballet, tap, and music and dreamed of being a ballerina. Pamela had a huge heart and it gave her great pleasure looking out after older people in her neighborhood.
Pamela is survived by her parents; brother Steven and wife Linda Marie Woody; aunts Denise Seay, Patricia van der Breggen and husband Albert; and Sheryl Lynn Woodburn and husband Donnie; uncles Keith Rogers and wife Stacy, and Michael Rogers; niece Noley Smith; nephews Landon Dean and Tre Smith, as well as several cousins on both sides. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Morris James and Ida Betty Woody and Jasper Jason and Madred Ellen Rogers; aunt Dorla Dean Duyne; uncles James Lee Woody, Aaron Lee Rogers, and Dorsey Rogers.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Seay, David Seay, Dan Rogers, Carissa Sheppard, Gina Collins, and Cindy Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Noley Smith, Landon Dean, Devin Bonham, and Jace van der Breggen.
