Patricia "Pattie" Ann Wilcox

Patricia Ann "Pattie" Wilcox, 69, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2026, in Oklahoma City, surrounded by the love she spent a lifetime cultivating.

Pattie was born on September 12, 1956, in Duncan to George and Rosetta (Sullivan) Swinford. She grew up in Walters, where she attended school and planted the roots of the strong, spirited woman she would become.

On August 26, 1983, Pattie married the love of her life, Randy Wilcox, in Wichita Falls, TX. Together they built a life filled with love, resilience, laughter, and family. In May of 1986, they welcomed their daughter, Alicia.

Pattie was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents; her beloved husband, Randy Wilcox; her sister, Mary Lister; and her brothers, Robert, Jerry, and John Swinford.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Alicia and Jarrett Herberger of Edmond, and by her brother, Wayne Swinford of Lone Grove.

Pattie was known for her strong will, stubborn determination, and quick wit. She spoke her mind freely, loved fiercely, and cared deeply for those fortunate enough to know her. Though retired, her hands and heart were never still. She found peace in tending her garden, joy in her home, comfort in her dogs, and happiness in sharing laughter with family.

Like a well-loved garden, Pattie's life was nurtured with perseverance, and care. She understood that beautiful things take time, patience, and resilience to grow. The seeds of love she planted in her family will continue to bloom.

In accordance with Pattie's wishes, no services will be held. She will be laid to rest next to Randy at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Duncan, Oklahoma.
