Patrick Lee Bovo was born February 27, 1952, in Wichita Falls, Texas to Ernest Bovo and Shirley Overmyer. He passed away in Oklahoma City on Sunday, December 7, 2025. He was 73 years old.
A memorial service is planned for 4:00 p.m., Thursday, December 18, at the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Mike McCord officiating. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Patrick worked as a heavy equipment operator for the City of Duncan for 14 years. Outside of work, he enjoyed fishing, watching Dallas Cowboy and Texas Longhorn football, and traveling. Some of his favorite places to visit were Possum Kingdom, Branson, Kansas, and Colorado. Patrick was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He also loved his animals: dog, Bella, cat, Little Bit, and granddog, Prince.
Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Patrick is survived by his significant other of 25 years, Janet; daughter, Tiphanie Allen; grandchildren: Makala Levi Rayne Woodard, Jordan Harley Janet Woodard, Rowdy Lakota Wyoming Allen, Aspyn Serenity Kay-Lee Allen; great-granddaughter, Rowdy's future daughter, Jazzlynn May Allen; and his best friend, Bill Gorbet.
