Pauline Kinnaird Obituary

Patricia "Pauline" Kinnaird, 84, passed away on August 14, 2022 in her home surrounded by her family. The family will greet visitors on Friday, August 19, between 5:30-7:00pm at Whitt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 20, at 1pm at New Hope Baptist Church West with Rev. Randy Southerland officiating. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche, under the direction of Whitt Funeral Home.

Pauline, the daughter of Howard "Cotton" and Cozell Graham was born on March 25, 1938 in Temple, OK. Pauline was one of the four "Graham Sisters." Pauline graduated from Temple High School in 1956 where she was a cheerleader and a proud member of the marching band as a baton twirler.

After high school, Pauline went on to marry Jerry Lindsey Kinnaird on February 23, 1957. Together, they had four children, Ron, Chris, Paula, and Kevin. Pauline stayed busy chasing her children and attending all of their events and school activities.

Throughout the years, Pauline obtained jobs outside of the home at Haggar’s and Halliburton. She taught children's Sunday school class at Meridian First Baptist Church for many years. But above all, her favorite job remained being in the home.

Pauline loved traveling with her sisters, classmates and friends she met through her Pace Setters class at the Simmons Center. Pauline loved her monthly meetings with her classmates in Temple. She loved to laugh and have a good time. She enjoyed Route 44 Diet Cokes, March Madness, crime shows and the Hallmark Channel.

Pauline loved her children and grandchildren but her greatest title was "GiGi." Pauline loved being able to spend time with her great grandchildren and watch them grow.

Pauline is survived in death by her daughter, Paula Blanton and her husband Bobby, of Marlow; three sons, Ron Kinnaird and his wife Melinda, of Duncan, Chris Kinnaird and his wife Jeanette, of Duncan, and Kevin Kinnaird and his wife Jennifer, of Duncan. Eleven grandchildren: Grant and his wife Lauren Martin of Comanche; Jacquelyn and her husband Luke Rightmire of Comanche; Holly and her husband Russ Cornelius of Oklahoma City; Kenzy and her husband Austin Harris of Oklahoma City; Kale Kinnaird of Oklahoma City; Jerrod Kinnaird of Joplin; Jacob Kinnaird of Henryetta; LCPL Conner Kinnaird stationed in Japan; and Carson Kinnaird of Duncan; Aimee White and Gina Brumley of Rush Springs. Six great grandchildren; Maverick, Blair, Bostyn, Briggs, Mikka and Christian. One sister and brother-in-law; Mary and Dennis Trahan of Tecumseh. Numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry, her parents, sisters Kathy Crawford and Joyce Priddy.

Pallbearers will be Grant Martin, Luke Rightmire, Carson Kinnaird, Kale Kinnaird, and Jacob Kinnaird. Honorary pallbearer is LCPL Conner Kinnaird.

The family would love to thank Dawn of Chisholm Trail Hospice for her care and support during this difficult time.
