Phillip "Phil" David Green was born February 12, 1956 in Joliet, Illinois to James Edwin and Ruth Ann (Hill) Green. He passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at his home near Marlow, Oklahoma at the age of 66.
There are no services planned at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center of Duncan.
Following his high school graduation and attending some college, Phil joined the US Navy. After his discharge he was employed as a diesel mechanic. He enjoyed racecars and working on them. He also enjoyed tinkering on many different things. He loved to eat Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream. His dog, Pappy, was very important to him.
Phil is survived by his mother, Ruth Ann Green; children: Sara York of Elgin and Eric Green; grandchildren: James Downs, Dawson Harp, Jullian York, Alexis York, Justin York, Samarrah Green, Dominic Green, Alec Green, Sabrina Green, Breanna Green, Hannah Balzer; great grandchildren: Colton Downs and Eileen Downs; and sisters: Janita Young and Jamie Cherry.
