Phyllis Jane King, 79, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 8, 2025.
She was born on July 24, 1946, in Duncan, Oklahoma, to George and Virginia (Barnes) Sparks. She will be remembered for her warmth, her unwavering dedication to her loved ones, and the joy she brought to those around her.
Phyllis enjoyed working puzzles and word searches, tending to her yard, and spending time outdoors. Her greatest happiness came from being with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Above all, she loved the Lord and lived her faith with grace and devotion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Virginia; husband, Tommy King; and children: Georgann King and Lorie King.
Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Nickell and husband Jimmy; grandchildren: Lance Nickell (Lacy), Laura Richardson (Nathan Gibbs); great grandchildren: Brianna Mango, Alex Nickell, Aedyn Anderson, Khloe Richardson, Austin Richardson, Tommy Nickell, Theodore Nickell, Eleanor Nickell, Ember Gibbs; brother Buddy Sparks (Janeen); sister, Sheila Hazell; and nieces: Bobby Lynn Morris and Faron Morris.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
