Raymond Thomas Duffy

Raymond Thomas Duffy was born November 5, 1956, in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Victor and Mildred Irene (Grade) Duffy.  He passed away with his daughter by his side on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, in Foster, Oklahoma at the age of 68.

The family is planning a private Celebration of Life for a later date.  Cremation arrangements are being handled by Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.

Raymond graduated from Ardmore High School and vocational plumbing school.  He worked as a tire builder and retired from the Michelin Tire plant in Ardmore, Oklahoma.  Raymond enjoyed watching sports, especially football and basketball.  In his younger years, he played the drums, and his love for music remained strong throughout his life – there was always a song playing wherever he was.  Raymond shared a special bond with his dogs, Ziggy and Chester, who were always by his side, but nothing brought him more happiness than spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Mike. 

Raymond is survived by his daughter, Tara Murray and husband Nathan, and his grandsons: Samuel Murray, Noah Murray, and Silas Murray.
