Rebecca "Becky" Beth Tinney, 69, was born April 20, 1955 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Lendal Roy and Ruby Earline (Mooney) Stephens. She passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2024, at her home in Duncan.

Services are being planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.

Becky graduated with the Class of 1973 from Marlow High School. On December 14, 1973 she married the love of her life, Gregory "Greg" Lewis Tinney. They had just celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary. Their family was completed with the births of their daughters, Melissa and Michell.

She was an avid reader of all kinds of books, sci-fiction was her favorite. She had traveled all across the United States, visiting Disneyland, Sea World, and the San Diego Zoo. She had also traveled to Scotland.

Preceded in death by her parents, Becky is survived by her husband, Greg; daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Jason Thomas of Springfield, Illinois, Michell and Mark Cavanaugh of Duncan; grandchildren: Michael Cavanaugh, Johnathan Cavanaugh, Joshua Cavanaugh, Layne Thomas; and sister, Cynthia "Cindy" Hanson.
