Richard Wayne Moore was born February 16, 1955 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Ronald Lyman and Maida (Jones) Moore. He passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 26, 2023, in Oklahoma City at the age of 68.
A graveside service is planned for Wednesday, June 14, at 11:00 A.M. at the Duncan Municipal Cemetery with Rev. Randy Southerland, pastor of New Hope Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Richard graduated from Moore High School. He worked in the oilfield and enjoyed building things.
Preceded in death by his son, Ramey Wayne Moore; father; and brother Ronald Stephen Moore, Richard is survived by his son, Chase Moore of Helena, Montana; and three grandchildren: Emma, RJ, and Brooklynn Moore. He is also survived by his mother, Maida Moore; and his brother, Rex Moore of Duncan.
