Richard "Dylan" Ballard, age 39, of Oklahoma City, went to be with the Lord on May 2, 2026. He was born on August 3, 1986, in Denton, Texas.

Dylan was a proud graduate of Duncan High School and continued his education at the University of Central Oklahoma, where he was selected as one of just 33 students for the inaugural Professional Golf Management Program. His acceptance into this prestigious program spoke to both his talent and his dedication to the game he loved. This milestone reflected his drive and his love for the game of golf. He continued pursuing golf and was working toward going on a PGA tour.

He went on to build a successful career with RIM Alliance Air Parts, where he was known for his strong work ethic and reliability. His clients and co-workers loved working with him.

Dylan had a deep love for life and for the people around him. He enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach, where he found peace and happiness. Golf was one of his greatest passions, along with race car gaming and his love for cars. He also enjoyed discovering great food and cherished visits to his favorite restaurant, Piatto Italian Kitchen.

More than anything, Dylan valued his family and friends. He is survived by his father, Richard Ballard and wife of Checotah, OK; his mother, Rosemary Ballard of Tulsa, OK; his sisters: Kendra McBride and her husband Tommy of Edmond, OK, Tiffany Riddles and her husband Justin of Duncan, OK; and his beloved nieces and nephews: Trendon, Kearston, Connor, Carter, and Kennedi. He also leaves behind many friends who will miss him dearly.

Dylan was preceded in death by his grandparents: Troice and Lela Mae Ballard, Mary Barbee, and Joe Garza Sr.

Dylan was loved by everyone and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive visitors at Whitt Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 6, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Funeral services are planned for 1:00 P.M., Thursday, May 7, at Faith Church with David Morrow officiating. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Connor Riddles, Carter Riddles, Trendon Ayers, Micheal Holtgrieve, Micheal Nguyen, and Daylen Klassen serving as pallbearers.
