Ricky "Rick" Lynn Adams was born on November 19, 1957 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Marvin Carl and Norma Jean (Arrington) Adams. He passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024, at Wister, Oklahoma at the age of 66.

Viewing/Visitation and the Celebration of Ricky's life will be held on Wednesday, October 9, at 3:00 P.M. in the Whitt Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Billy Morgan, pastor of Freedom Biker Church, officiating.

After his graduation in 1976 from Comanche High School, Rick went to work at Halliburton in the Truck Shop, Unit Test, and Production Maintenance. He loved to ride motorcycles and drive Jeeps. A few of his favorite pastimes included fishing, overland jeep trips, listening to music, camping and reminiscing over campfires. He was a mechanic who enjoyed restoring old vehicles, jeeps, and had put numerous days and nights into building his favorite Rock Crawler, The Punisher. Most of all, he loved hanging with his family and spending time with his grandchildren.

Rick is survived by his mother, Norma Jean Adams; daughter, Shalyn Adams and Drew Boatman; son, Bryan Adams and wife Cassie; and grandchildren: Heidi Justus, Addison Adams, Kaden Adams, Brynlie Boatman, and Paisley Boatman. He is also survived by his sisters: Carla and husband Mike Chambless and Karen and husband Charles Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Adams; infant son, Cody Lynn Adams; and brother: Rodney Adams.
