Robert Truesdale Obituary
Robert "Stanley" Truesdale was born on April 27, 1958 in Hugo, Oklahoma to Arthur "Sam" Montana and Stella "Della" Rodella (McDaniel) Truesdale. He passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on June 20, 2021 in Marlow at the age of 63.
A memorial service is scheduled on Monday, June 28, 2021, at 2:00 PM in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jason Mason officiating. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center in Duncan.
Stanley married the love of his life, Millie Grace Wright, on July 12, 1982 in Fort Pierre, South Dakota. They were married for 38 wonderful years before his passing. Stanley worked many years in the agriculture industry waterproofing grain bins and other things that farmer and ranchers needed done. He enjoyed working right alongside of his wife, Millie, with a strong work ethic; they built a business together.
Stanley enjoyed eating sweets and having breakfast for supper. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and long drives in the country. Stanley liked to be the center of attention and was always playing pranks and joking around. He loved old country music and rock and roll. Stanley especially held his children and grandchildren close to his heart and dearly loved them and the Lord deeply.
Stanley is survived by his wife, Millie Truesdale of the home, two children: Bonnie Hurley and husband Brody of Colorado Springs, CO; Melissa Northern of Walters; seven grandchildren: Brody Slade Hurley; Rainie Grace; Gail Hurley; Johnny Ray Hurley; Charlie Joles; Presley Joles; Stormy Joles; two brothers: Steve Truesdale and wife Jackie of Oklahoma City; George Truesdale and wife Aline of Oklahoma City; two sisters: Anita Truesdale of Oklahoma; Rose Truesdale of Oklahoma; his bestie, Lonny Wright, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and great friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Wes Stanley Glen Truesdale.
