Rodney Dean Drake, 72 , of Lawton, Ok. passed away on July 6, 2019, in Oklahoma City.
Funeral Services will be held July 11th at 2 p.m. at First Pentecostal Holiness 1121 East Apache Trail Road Apache, Ok. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Crews Funeral Home.
Rodney Dean Drake was born in Anadarko, Ok. to Earnest and Eudean on June 20th, 1947. He went to school at Broxton. He graduated college from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s in animal science. After graduating from Oklahoma State University, Rodney started a landscaping business in Norman, Ok.
After his father retired and his parents moved to the City, Rodney moved home to take care of the family ranch.
After meeting the love of his life, Judy Drake, Rodney and Judy were married and went on to start and run a successful real estate business for the next thirty years.
After semi-retirement Rodney enjoyed sitting in the pasture Facebooking with his 4-legged children.
He and Judy also enjoyed gardening in their beautiful backyard.
Rodney is preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Eudean Drake, his great grandchild, Dax Davis and his 4-legged children; Sir Bud Drake and Barney Drake
Rodney is survived by his wife Judy Drake.
