Ronald Pierce Obituary

Ronald "Ronnie" Lynn Pierce was born December 23, 1959 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Homer Pierce and Darlene (Doyle-Pierce) Morgan. He passed away on March 22, 2026 in Marlow at the age of 66 following complications from surgery to remove a brain mass.

After graduating from Comanche High School, Ronnie joined his father and brother at Pierce Siding and Supply, where he later took over the family business upon his father's retirement. After several years in the siding industry, he went on to work for Pepsi-Cola. When his mother entered a nursing home, Ronnie chose to leave Pepsi-Cola in order to work at Wilkins Nursing Home to be closer to her. He also worked for Coca-Cola and Frito-Lay and drove a bus for the military. He concluded his career as a salesman at Duncan Builders Supply. Ronnie also attended Cameron University.

An outdoorsman at heart, Ronnie enjoyed fishing and hunting. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family-especially his nieces, nephew, and grandchildren-and had a special love for his dogs.

Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Jane Pierce, Ronnie is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Tammy Pierce of Velma; and his sister, Cynthia Reinecke. He is also survived by his aunt, Neva Whitney of Lawton; his nieces: Lori Gambill and spouse Tony of Altus; Amber Pierce of Stillwater; Sarah Porter and spouse Ayle of Perry; Tammy Burns and spouse Bryan of Duncan; and Leah Meadows and spouse Ronnie of Duncan; one nephew, Michael Pierce of Velma. Ronnie gained 3 bonus daughters that he truly adored as his own: Shanda Warner of Oklahoma City; Courtney Carter and spouse Jeff of Claremore; and Brittany Bailey and spouse Carey of Searcy, Arkansas. He also leaves behind grandchildren: Micah Parkhurst; Paizleigh and Kenzleigh Laws; Morgan and Madisyn Parkhurst; and Ethen and Tanner Germany; great nieces: Klare Gambill, Emma Gambill, and Brooklyn Gambill; as well as many cousins who he thought the world of.
