Ronald "Ron" Allen Bradford, of Duncan, Oklahoma, was born December 10, 1954 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Charles and Bettye (Deadwiley) Bradford. He passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at the age of 66.
A private family service is planned. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.
Ron graduated in 1973 from Comanche High School where he played football, baseball, and ran track. He then took college classes at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Oklahoma State University, and East Central University. He married Debra Gayle Collier on May 2, 1980. To this marriage, two daughters - Tara Leann and Rebecca "Becca" Lyn - were born.
Ron had worked at his own machine shop and other shops since 1975. He also worked as a Precision Machine Shop Instructor for Red River Technology Center for 6 years. Ron had gotten his pilot's license and loved to fly until his health prevented it. He also loved riding and working on motorcycles. Fishing, collecting guns, and square dancing were activities that he enjoyed doing. He loved watching both OU and OSU athletics in addition to the Dallas Cowboys. Most of all, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Scarlette Bradford, Ron is survived by his wife, Debra; daughters, Tara Leann Aparicio and Rebecca "Becca" Lyn Bradford of Duncan; grandchildren: Amaia Aparicio and Ethan Lynn; and step son, Jason Thomas also of Duncan.
