Ronnie Lynn Brown

Ronnie Lynn Brown was born July 27, 1952 in Marlow, Oklahoma to Marvin Andrew and Faye Lorene (Morris) Brown. He passed away at the age of 70 on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, with his wife at his side at his home in Duncan.

A private family service is being planned. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.

Ronnie graduated from Marlow High School. He proudly served his country in the US Army as a Cannon Crewman and Sergeant for 8 years during the Vietnam War era and 2 of those years were served overseas. He received medals and decorations for Marksman, M-16 Rifle, Good Conduct (two) and the National Defense Service Medals. He married Teena Kaye Eaves on September 20, 2013.

He enjoyed riding his trike and driving his car on day trips with his wife. They enjoyed seeing the countryside together. He loved to go out to eat, but also loved cooking and smoking cheese. He liked to read and listen to Paul Harvey broadcasts. He loved listening to country music on the radio. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends.

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Teena; children: Andy and wife Stacy Brown of Marlow, Inez Challigoj of Tennessee, and Joseph Brown of Oklahoma City; and six grand children: Kyler Brown, Andrew Brown, Gabriel Challigoj, Alexandria Challigoj, Steven Challigoj, and Boyce Challigoj. He is also survived by two brothers: Ricky Brown of Seven Points, Texas and Kenneth Brown of Lone Grove, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters: Ginger Wright and Shirley Meismer.
