Rose Martin Obituary
Rose Martin was born in Claxton, Georgia on March 27, 1939 to Dave Holland and Annie Laura (Watson) Holland. She passed away in Wichita Falls on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at the age of 82.
No services are scheduled at this time. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center in Duncan.
Rose was a loving, caring, kind, and sincere mother. She was always willing to take care of others that were in need, especially her sisters. Rose was a great cook that took great pride in cooking for her family. She enjoyed gardening and had a green thumb that could make beautiful flowers grow especially roses.
Rose is survived by her three daughters: Debbie Robinson of Waurika; Donna Dennard and husband Jimmy of Wichita Falls, TX; Dwana Harding and husband Johnny of Byers, TX; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Holland of Jesup, GA; two sisters: Janice Jones of Jesup, GA; Catherine Sheffield of Jesup, GA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands: Melvin Martin; Robert Estes; two brothers: David Holland; Tommy Holland; and sister, MaryAnn Walker.
