Russell "Rusty" Allen Jones

Russell "Rusty" Allen Jones was born May 20, 1961 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Roy Allen and Barbara Ann (Alvey) Jones. He passed away in Oklahoma City on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at the age of 63.

A memorial service is planned for 1:00 P.M., Saturday, February 22, at the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel in Duncan with Bobby England officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Apache under the direction of Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.

Rusty graduated from Ardmore High School in 1979 and worked as an autobody technician. He loved to tinker with cars and motorcycles, watch football, and spend time with his family and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Ronnie Jones, Rusty is survived by his children: Jamie Shannon and husband Bryant of Ardmore, OK, Kathrine Rae Jackson and husband David of Granbury, TX; grandchildren: Braxton Shannon, Jackson Shannon, Grayson Shannon, Chloe Henson, Jason Jackson, Xander Jackson; and numerous other relatives and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Carter County Humane Society.
