Sandra Herndon Obituary
Sandra Eugina Herndon was born June 28, 1945 in Duncan to William Edwin and Solange "So" (Lagneaux) Watson. She passed away on July 14, 2021 in Oklahoma City. She was 76.
Visitation will be Monday, July 19, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Whitt Funeral Home. A memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, July 20, at 10:00 A.M. in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dan Standifer officiating.
Sandra graduated from Duncan High School with the Class of 1963. She then attended school in Lawton where she received her LPN license. She was employed at Reynolds Army Hospital and Comanche County Memorial Hospital as an LPN and a Pharmacy Tech working for Baker Express Pharmacy.
She married the love of her life, "Ron" Harry Ronald Herndon, on June 20, 1970 at the Catholic Church in Duncan. To this union two children, William Cale and Jaime Lynn, were born. Sandra loved her family dearly. She enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren, especially enjoyed watching them play in sports. She loved to cook and bake sweets. She would bake cookies and cakes for the doctors' offices. She was very outgoing and loved being with her friends. Sandra liked to travel and even went on an Alaskan cruise.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Ron; children: William Cale Herndon and fiancée Jaime Kuykendall; Jaime Lynn Simpson and spouse Lloyd; grandchildren: Reide Davis and spouse Tyler, Kenna Herndon, Nevaeh Simpson, Lodinn Simpson; brother- and sister-in-law, Rusty and Billie Herndon; and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, aunt: Cora Sledge, and uncles, Harry Sledge and Joe Watson.
