Sherrie Lee (Redfern) Cowan was born November 2, 1945, in Borger Texas. She finished her earthly journey in Duncan, Oklahoma on Monday, July 15, 2024 at the age of 78.

According to her wishes, there are no services planned at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.

Sherrie worked as a surgical tech at Ochiltree General Hospital in Perryton, Texas for 25 years. She loved being a nurse. In her free time, she enjoyed canning, quilting, and watching movies. Sherrie was a great cook and enjoyed cooking for her family who she loved dearly.

Preceded in death by her parents, Garland and Addie "Ruth" (Chapman) Redfern, Sherrie is survived by her children: Tammie Patzkowsky and husband Kerry of Balko, Ok, Sandra Morris of San Antonio, TX, and Ruth Churchman and husband Brian of Duncan. Other survivors include her grandchildren: Kristan Lovell and husband Weston, Trent Patzkowsky, Ryan Morris, Kennedy Brown and husband Boston, Logan Churchman; and great-grandchildren: Walker Lovell, Gunner Lovell, and Beckham Brown.
