Shirley Ann Hurley

Shirley Ann (Davis) Hurley was born January 31, 1941 in Bray, Oklahoma to Walter and Martha (Holt) Davis. She passed away Monday, January 6, 2025 in Duncan. She was 83.

A memorial service is planned for 10:00 A.M., Monday, January 13 at the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Woods Sr. officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.

Shirley married Eldon "Wayne" Hurley on June 4, 1960 in Nebraska. She made a loving home for her husband and their children: Dana, Teresa, and Steven. Shirley and Wayne enjoyed going to the casino together and Shirley also enjoyed singing karaoke. They were married 63 years when Wayne passed away in December of 2023. Shirley loved being a mom and eventually a grandmother and great-grandmother and spending time with her family was what she loved most in life.

Survivors include her daughters: Dana Love and husband Ricky, Teresa Davis all of Marlow; grandchildren: Kevin Bush and wife Eva, Kaley Davis; great-grandchildren: Paul Bush, Steven Bush, Eldon Bush, and one on the way. Shirley is also survived by her brother, Edward Davis and wife Tijuana of Marlow.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne; son, Steven Hurley; brother, Walter; and sisters: Bobbie, Jewel, Rosie, Hazel, and Christine.
