Shirley Mae Smith was born in Duncan, Oklahoma on October 9, 1947 to Cecil and Jessie (Whitten) Williamson. She completed her earthly journey and joined her Savior in Heaven on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the age of 78.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 6, between 1:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M. at her home, 1806 Terrace Drive in Duncan. Cremation arrangements have been handled by Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Shirley graduated from Duncan High School. She was employed as the CEO of Searchlight Center, a not-for-profit company that provides assistance to individuals with disabilities. She married Raymond Smith on October 13, 2006 in Oklahoma City. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Duncan.
She loved cooking and her dogs. She was a stained-glass artist. She enjoyed traveling, especially going on cruises. She loved spending time with her family.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 19 years, Raymond; children: David Wishon of Lawton; Raegie Carpenter of Golsby; Charles Robert and wife Jinger Smith of Wichita, Kansas; Laura Abigail Smith of Phoenix, Arizona; Marlow Kimbrough and husband Nathan Abrams of Denton, Texas. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Drew Wishon, Derek Wishon, Brady Carpenter, Shannon Wishon, Aaron Wishon, Phoenix Smith, Kierra Smith; 5 great-grandchildren; and sister: Judy and husband Steve Berry of Duncan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters: Delores Van-Hyfte, Deanna Williamson, LaFern Bradburry.
