Steven Bailey Brooks

Steven Bailey Brooks was born June 15, 1948, in Marlow, Oklahoma to Tom Bailey Brooks Jr. and Theresa Cecilia (Haas) Brooks. He finished his earthly journey on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at the age of 76.

A graveside memorial service is planned for 11:00 A.M., Friday, December 6, at Marlow Cemetery with Larry Culberson Sr. officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.

Steven graduated from Marlow High School and then joined the US Army where he served during Vietnam. He was owner and operator of Marlow Ice Company but, in his free time, Steven enjoyed building trucks and gardening with his dog as his faithful companion. Most of all, Steven loved his family and spending time with them.

Preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Kimberly Harris, Steven is survived by his children: Christie Hack and husband Jeff of Marlow, Keri Culberson and husband Larry Jr. of Duncan, and Tom Brooks and wife Robin of Oklahoma City. Other survivors include 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and sister, Pat Gray and husband Gary of Duncan.
