Susan Elizabeth LaRue, of Lawton, Oklahoma, was born August 21, 1956 in Osaka, Japan to Richard Duane Logan and Whaja "Mickey" Hong Logan. She passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, in Lawton at the age of 67.
The family is planning a service for a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Susan graduated from Lawton Eisenhower High School and received an Associate's Degree from Victoria College. She was employed as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
She loved listening to music (especially heavy metal music) and played the piano. She enjoyed football and the Kansas City Chiefs were her favorite team. She loved her dog, Dolly. Susan was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Susan is survived by her children: Richard Paul LaRue of Schulenburg, TX, Michelle LaRue and husband Glen of Hallettsville, TX, and Colton Ward also of Hallettsville; grandchildren: Katilyn Faith LaRue, Dillon Seth LaRue, Cadance Danielle LaRue, John Adam Seals, and Lance Oliver Languerand; and great grandchildren: Ahlani LaRue and Cameron LaRue. She was preceded in death by her parents.
