Tammy Lynn Henson, of Duncan, OK, was born in Orlando, Florida on February 4, 1967 to Dean and Martha (Farmer) Almandinger. She completed her earthly journey on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, in Oklahoma City. She was 58.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 7, at 10:00 A.M. with Chaplain Steven Gillispie officiating. Serving as pallbearers are John Beavers (her son-in-law), George French, Chris Ream, Don Bridges, and Raphael Carrero Sagardia. Arrangements are under the direction of Whitt Funeral Home.

On January 22, 1988 she married David Henson in Orlando. Tammy was employed as a hotel front desk manager. She enjoyed doing research and gardening. Cats were her favorite pet. She loved spending time with her family.

Tammy is survived by her husband of 38 years, David; and 2 children: Mandi Beavers of Sarasota, Florida, Dakota Henson of Seattle, Washington. She is also survived by 2 brothers: Bobby and wife Lisa Almandinger of Florida, Kenny Fisher of Missouri; and 2 sisters: Patty and husband Mike McDonald of Orlando, Tina Almandinger of Orlando.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters, Peggy and Carol Almandinger.

Tammy was a wonderful wife and mom. She was very loved and will be greatly missed.
