Surrounded by his family, Thomas Owen Johnson passed from this life and entered into his eternal home with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 11, 2025.

Tom was born January 8, 1944, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Henry and Maggie (McCall) Johnson. He was the 12th of 13 children.

Tom graduated from Doyle High School in 1963. He attended OSU Technical School in Okmulgee, Oklahoma earning his associate's degree in design drafting. Tom worked at Halliburton as a design draftsman for 48 years and 9 months before he was "laid off" to become a rancher. He wanted the package and not the cake.

Tom married the love of his life, Zora Ann Gann, on February 1, 1963. Of this marriage two daughters were born, Lana (Johnson) Walker and Marla (Johnson) Hicks.

Tom was a faithful servant of his church and drove the church bus for 35 years assisting children and shut-ins to attend church every time the doors were open. It was not uncommon to find him giving his sage advice and pointing those around him to Christ in both word and deed. Among his various hobbies, Tom loved to hunt, garage sale and challenge those around him to top his feats. He loved his family deeply and was a hero to them all.

Survivors include: Zora Johnson, Jeff & Lana Walker, Jason & Marla Hicks, 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, 2 brothers & their wives, Arnold & Wynema Johnson, Gary & Yvonne Johnson, 2 sisters, Cynthia Ann Nooner, Glenna Condit, and a brother-in-law & his wife Wayne & Diane Gann.

A celebration of Tom's life will be held at Bethel Church in Duncan, Oklahoma on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive visitors from 5:00-7:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 16, at Whitt Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers a donation to Charis Crisis Pregnancy Center in Duncan Oklahoma is suggested.
