Thomas Raymond "Tom" Maxwell was born January 3, 1944, in Braddock, Pennsylvania to Thomas Raymond and Anna Elizabeth (Bungard) Maxwell. He passed away in Duncan, on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the age of 81.

There are no services pending at this time. Cremation arrangements are being handled by Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.

Tom graduated from Norwin High School in Pennsylvania. He worked as a machinist for over 40 years for many different companies in California and Washington. He loved fishing and hunting, both small and big game. His passion was bow hunting. He even made bows for people who traveled all over the world to hunt big game. On February 21, 1970, Tom married Sandra "Sandy" Ray in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Preceded in death by his parents, Tom is survived by his wife, Sandy of the home; children: Jennifer Claus and husband Jim of Pennsylvania, Brian Maxwell and wife Chantell of Pennsylvania, Scott Maxwell and wife Maria of Washington, and Skylar James-Hicks and husband Rob of Duncan; grandchildren: Seth Cox (Devon), Savannah Martinez (Richard), Tymon Groeneweg (Rachael), Jada Lee Konate-Groeneweg, Dakota Maxwell (Allyssa); and 6 great-grandchildren. Other survivors include his brother, Jimmy Maxwell and nephew, Christopher Maxwell.
