Twala Kay Bruce

Twala Kay Bruce was born in Comanche, Oklahoma to Russell and Gladys (Griffith) Gordon on March 17, 1943. She left this earth to be with her heavenly father in the early morning hours of Monday, November 10, 2025, at the age of 82.

There are no services planned at this time. Cremation arrangements are being handled by Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.

On March 24, 1962, Twala married the love of her life, Bobby Gene Bruce. They were happily married for 50 years when Bobby passed away in 2012. Twala was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her four sons: Craig Bruce and partner Rebecca Blackwood of San Diego, California; Shawn Bruce and wife Sandy of Duncan, Reggie Bruce of Portland, Oregon, and Chase Bruce and his wife Charlee of Duncan; grandchildren: Terri Bruce, Tyler Bruce, Kaylee Moore, Korbin Bruce, Lennox Bruce, Charlee-Rose Bruce, Heather Eakins and husband Brody, Lauren Kincaid; and great-grandchildren: Alexia Eakins, Dawson Eakins, and Ryleigh Hagler. Other survivors include brothers, Larry Gordon and Gary Gordon, and sister, Pam Coburn and husband John.

Twala was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Gladys Gordon, and sister, Judy Dianne Gordon.

Twala was a kindhearted person who enjoyed helping others. Her family was her world and she will be missed by all who knew her.
