Vickie Inez Rogers Obituary

Vickie Inez Rogers was born in Munich, Germany on November 18, 1958 to Louis and DeLouris Earlene (Johnson) Powell. At the age of 67, she passed away at her home near Marlow on Saturday, February 21, 2026, with her family at her side.

Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, February 25, from 5:00PM-7:00PM in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service is planned for Thursday, February 26, at 10:00AM at Central Baptist Church.

After her 1976 graduation from Lawton High School, Vickie received an associate's degree in Business at Cameron University. She was employed as the Patient Accounts Manager at Duncan Regional Hospital where she would have worked 30 years in April. Vickie also trained horses for barrel racing.

Vickie married Gary Rogers on April 1, 1977 at the Holy City of the Wichitas. They raised two children - Courtney and Chad. She loved watching her grandchildren and attended all of their sporting events, including baseball, softball, and football.

Preceded in death by her parents, Vickie is survived by her husband, Gary; daughter and son-in-law, Courtney and Jim Shepard; son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Jennifer Rogers; three grandchildren: Gracie and husband Kenneth Davis, Jett Rogers, and Tripp Rogers; and great grandchildren: Destri Mae Davis and one on the way. She is also survived by her sister, Sharon Perrigo.
