Victor Lee "Vic" Anderson, 92, of Marlow, Oklahoma went to his heavenly home surrounded by his family on Friday, March 14, 2025 in Wichita Falls, Texas.
The family will receive visitors Thursday, March 20, at Whitt Funeral Home from 5:00-6:30 P.M. Funeral services are planned for 1:00 P.M., Friday, March 21, at the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Billy Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in Hope Cemetery in Marlow with Roger Lewis, Trevor Anderson, Dale Hurst, Tim Smith, Chad Smith, and Warren Robinson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Johny Kuykendall, HC "Peachy" Anderson, and Pat Anderson.
Vic was born in Bray, Oklahoma on December 29, 1932, to WE "Pud" and Blanche (Payne) Anderson. He graduated from Bray Schools and served in the National Guard. Vic and his first wife, Gayle, raised three children: Tony, Steve, and Michelle. While they were growing up, he spent a lot of time in the wrestling room with his sons. Later in life, on December 30, 1987, Vic married Donna Sue Holland. Then, in 1989, he retired from his job at Halliburton after 28 years.
In his free time, Vic enjoyed playing pool, skiing and boating at Clear Creek Lake, and using his creative talent to make chaps for bull riding cowboys. He was also a member of Duncan Moose Lodge for 48 years.
Vic was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, George T. and Monteen Holland; sons, Tony and Steve Anderson; brother, HC "Buzz" Anderson; and sisters: Mary Hall "Toad", Ada Kuykendall, and Billie Jean Hurst.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 37 years, Donna; daughter, Michelle Lewis and husband Roger; stepson, Wesley Dale King; grandchildren: Justin Anderson, Haylee Robinson, Whitney Broussard and husband Jamie, Trevor Anderson, Kinzie Kennedy, Albany Anderson; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
