Vincent Leroy Schenck was born January 6, 2001, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Marcos Schenck and Christy (Martin) Craft. He joined his Lord and Savior in his heavenly home on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at the age of 25.
Viewing will be available beginning Wednesday, September 16, from 9:00 A.M.–7:00 P.M. at Whitt Funeral Home, and the family will receive visitors from 5:00-7:00 P.M., on Thursday, September 17.
Funeral services are planned for 2:00 P.M., Friday, at Impact 580 Church with Pastor Ryan Rowell officiating. Law enforcement honors will be rendered by the Duncan Police Department and Stephens County Sheriff's Office Honor Guard. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.
After graduating from high school and attending some college, Vincent felt called to a life of service. In the spring of 2024, he joined the Duncan Police Department, where he proudly served his community as a police officer. Though his career was far too brief, he approached his work with dedication and a genuine desire to help and protect others.
When he wasn’t working, Vincent enjoyed fishing, shooting, reading, and renovating his home. He was always ready to take on another project and enjoyed working with his hands and seeing his plans come together.
Vincent’s faith was an important part of his life. He was an active member of Impact 580 Church, where he found not only a place to worship but a church family, he dearly loved. With a heart for serving others, he was always eager to lend a hand with church events and activities throughout the community. Whether in uniform, at church, or simply helping someone who needed him, serving others came naturally to him.
Above all, Vincent loved spending time with his family and those closest to him. He treasured the relationships he shared with his family, friends, fellow officers, and church family. His willingness to serve, his faith, and the love he had for others will be remembered by the many lives he touched.
Vincent is survived by his mother and step-father, Christy and J.B. Craft; his father, Marcos Schenck; sister, Kaitlyn Hall and husband Kyle; brother, Jacob Hatch and fiancé Lily Zamarripa; paternal grandfather, Jerry Schenck; maternal grandfather, James Martin; and brand new nephew, Ryzer Hall.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Bertha Schenck, and maternal grandmother, Loretta Lopez.
Memorial donation can be made to Impact 580 Church at 26 N 12 St., Duncan, OK 73533.
