Virginia Faye Brown

Virginia Faye Brown was born on December 27, 1940, in Corsicana, Texas, to C.W. Harris and Velma Lois (Watson) Wright. She passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026, in Duncan, Oklahoma, with her family at her side.

She married Allen "Hank" Franklin Brown, and together they raised their daughter, Staci.

After attending business school, she was employed by several companies with her last employment being with the Texas Youth Commission in the Human Resources Department.

Virginia loved her family and was an exceptional mother. She was known by many as a close friend and loyal companion. She enjoyed gardening and loved her frog collection which reminded her to "Fully Rely On God."

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Franklin Brown, her parents; and her brothers, Garbert "Bert" Wright, Garrett Wright, and Garry Wright.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Staci Brown; her sisters, Wanda Harris, Gambra Green and husband Harold, and Gayla Bain and husband Scott; her sisters-in-law, Jandra Wright and Penny Wright; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
